The Duomo is the Cathedral of Milan and the seat of the Archbishop. Constructed between the 14th and the 16th Centuries it is one of the largest churches in the world, being 158 metres long and around 108 metres high to the tip of the tallest spire.
The cathedral is built in splendid Gothic style. The interior is impressive with its 17th Century doorways, 18th Century central balcony, huge pillars, internal arches and stunning stained glass windows. The Duomo is world famous for its outstanding musical heritage.
